Mounjaro indications

Weight management and obstructive sleep apnea are indications of the separate brand Zepbound, not of Mounjaro.

  • Adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients 10 years of age and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • To reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are at high risk for these events

Forms and brand-specific safety notes

Shared warnings (thyroid C-cell tumor boxed warning, pancreatitis, hypoglycemia, and others) are on the tirzepatide ingredient page.

  • The US label lists single-dose pens and vials, multi-dose vials, and a KwikPen. Which of these, if any, are available in Jordan has not been verified here.
  • Never share a Mounjaro KwikPen between patients.
