Al Hayat General Hospital

Al-Hayat General Hospital is a general hospital in Amman, in the Jasmine (Al-Yasmin) suburb at the end of the Abdoun Bridge, according to its website. It reports a capacity of 130 beds, including 12 ICU/CCU beds, 5 operating rooms, an emergency center with 12 beds that operates 24 hours, 20 obstetrics and gynecology beds with three delivery rooms, and a prematurity center with 12 incubators.

Centers and units listed include cardiac and arterial catheterization, a laboratory, an emergency unit, ICU/CCU, diagnostic and surgical endoscopy, dialysis and radiology. The site says the hospital was expanded in 2010 and describes open-heart surgery and brain and spine tumor operations among its complex procedures.

It is recognized by the Jordan Medical Council for training junior interns, and HCAC's list of accredited organizations includes Al Haya General Hospital, Amman (date shown: 30 May 2020).
